Illustrious. (www.aereimilitari.org/forum/topic/1...ca-illustrious/ Danneggiamento della portaerei britannica ILLUSTRIOUS)
("Around midday on January 10, waves of Italian air force Ju87 Stukas attacked the ship, and six or seven thousandpound bombs hit their target, set fire to aviation fuel below decks and destroyed the carrier's steering system." Aces, Warriors and Wingmen, Wayne Ralph, Pag. 15, John Wiley & Sons, 2008 )
"January 10 marked the beginning of a continuous chasethe desperate effort to sink HMS Illustrious. In the afternoon, Ju.87s from the 237 Squadriglia scored a direct hit on the aircraft carrier and forced her to leave the formation and head towards Malta for shelter and repairs." http://worldatwar.net/chandelle/v3/v3n3/articles/stuka.html)

04.04.1941 La forza navale di Grecia dimostrò tutta la propria vulnerabilità ai Stuka italiane che costò il 4 aprile la grave perdita del cacciatorpediniere "Proussa".
("At about 1720 six 239a Squadriglia aircraft sunk the RHN destroyer Proussa in Dafnila Bay." Air War Over Greece and Albania 1940-1941, Alexis Mehtidis, p. 67, Ravi Rikhye)

("On 24 June 1941 Tarantola scored a direct hit on the destroyer HMAS Waterhen, which was attacked off the North African coast ..." Italian Aces of World War 2, Giorgio Apostolo, Richard Caruana, Pag.76, Osprey Publishing, 2012)

("Tribute to Maresciallo Ennio Tarantola by Ivan Berryman. Having already scored his first victory by shooting down an I-15 during the Spanish Civil War, Ennio Tarantola was to survive World War II with a total of eleven victories. His involvement in the Second World War began, however, as one of the elite dive bomber force, 102° Gruppo 'Bombardamento a Tuffo' which was made up of 209a and 239a Squadriglie, flying Junkers JU-87 Stukas. It was Tarantola who scored a direct hit on the destroyer HMAS WATERHEN." www.pinterest.com/pin/413134965793959403/)

10.07.1943 In mare, davanti alle coste siciliane, il cacciatorpediniere USS "Maddox" (211 morti) viene colpito e affondato da un attacco della 121° Squadriglia.
("Therefore, when Allied forces crosssed the narrows to launch Operation Husky on 10 July 1943, the dive-bomber response was entirely in the hands of the Italians ... The Regia Aeronautica had taken delivery of a bunch of Ju87Ds earlier in the year, but rather than re-equip their existing dive-bomber units, the 'Doras' had been used to form two new gruppi: 103° and 121° ... Still working up on Sardinia, the largely inexperienced crews were dispatched at once to southern Italy and Sicily to counter the invasion ...
A bomb from an unseen aircraft struck the destroyer's stern, blowing it apart 'in a gust of flame, smoke and debris'. In less than two minutes she had disappeared beneath the waves ... The surviving Doras of 121 Gruppo were to retire back to Sardina before the Sicilian campaign had run its 38-day course
." Junkers Ju 87 Stukageschwader of North Africa and the Mediterranean, John Weal, Pag.81-82, Osprey Publishing, 1998)
